TRC Develop Remote, GPRS Enabled Control System
with Arbel Electronics
Total Remote Control are delighted
to announce the first installation of the jointly developed Arbel
MM2000 GPRS enabled system for the Dairy industry. The system has
been installed in a prestige site in Northern Ireland and has given
faultless, real-time service, even when connection was made from
New Zealand!
The new MM2000 GPRS monitors and controls the Milk
Cooling and associated cleaning processes on-line, through a high
speed mobile communications service. It sends both SMS and e-mail
messages in response to alarms and the new user software developed
allows connection directly to the system, fron ANYWHERE you
have an Internet connection.
The standard Arbel MM2000 control
system is used in the Milk/Dairy industry for the Cooling of milk,
applying acid and alkali washes to the milk tanks, rinsing the tanks
and much more. However, as a stand-alone product, it required service
engineers to travel to remote farms to diagnose potential problems
and to make process adjustments. Now,
with the all of the wash programs, process logs and system parameters
both viewable and adjustable "on-line", alarms can be
diagnosed remotely and appropriate, cost effective action taken
on a global basis!
Long term field trials proved the concepts were acheivable and the
embedded MM2000 functionaility was shown to be highly effective
in monitoring system usage on the farm. In fact the log can be downloaded
from the controller showing everything from which buttons have been
pressed on the MM2000 unit, to when the last rinse was initiated.

The pictures above show the low profile system which has been designed
not only to be fitted to new tanks, but also provides a simple and
cost effective upgrade to the existing MM2000 product family.
The MM2000 board, which features a GPRS modem and the latest embedded
web server technology, comes cased in a clear plastic surround faced
with a simple to use button press control panel.
