TRC Finalise Embedded Windows Webserver
over GPRS using XP embedded.
Total Remote Control have created and
demonstrated a complete embedded Internet system, that uses GPRS
as the transport medium, to provide easy, plug and play facilities
to create truly mobile servers.
Although XP requires a larger Flash
Memory footprint than an Operating System like Linux, it is easier
to use and configure for mobile Internet applications.
The added cost of an Embedded XP licence
over the Linux equivalent, although substantial, becomes economically
viable in situations where only a small number of systems will be
required, as the cost of development is much reduced.

TRC Experience
TRC have experience in applying embedded
XP, embedded Linux and embedded systems at the micro level. Whatever
your potential M2M product, speak to us for impartial advice on
the advantages and dis-advantages of each approach.
